Long Summer days are quickly approaching. Perfect time for family and friends to gather at a backyard BBQ or Friday Night Happy Hour and enjoy a few drinks. However, could drinking alcoholic beverages increase your risk for Hypertension, Heart Attack, Stroke and Atrial Fibrillation?

Observational studies have consistently proposed cardiovascular benefits associated with light alcohol consumption, while recent genetic analyses have suggested a possible causal link between alcohol intake and increased risk of cardiovascular disease. How many alcoholic beverages are too much?
