Renin-angiotensin system inhibitors, thiazides or thiazides-like diuretics, calcium channel blockers, and beta-blockers are the main four cornerstone antihypertensive drugs used alone or in different ways combinations. Additionally, ACEi are preferable to ARBs, mainly in hypertensive patients with comorbidities
