In this talk, Dr. Nohora Reyes (Internist from Colombia) draws the global characteristics of patients from Central America and the Caribbean
highlighting that, due to our culture and traditions, we have a high risk of developing chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. However, she also highlights that, by identifying these factors in a timely manner, it is possible to reduce vulnerability and contribute to focalizing prevention strategies for chronic diseases.
