Cost saving medical innovations all government should implement
A real-world analysis published in the Journal of Hypertension June 2023, that compares drug utilization, CV hospitalizations, and direct healthcare costs related to using a combination treatment or free combination was conducted in a large population of over 11 440 patients.
When they switched to combinations for non-adherent patient a significant reduction of the incidence rate of death and CV events lower risk of drug discontinuation, reduced risk of CV hospitalization, and lower healthcare costs than those on the free combination was found.
